The PSR has simply stopped accepting 'advertising', long ago.. • The Internet has made print advertising in academic journals utterly obsolete, long ago. If you do have announcements or links that you want to have posted on the PSR site, let the Editors know and we shall post those links, after vetting them. If you are running blogs or sites on which you want to link the PSR, let us know as well, and we shall reciprocate with free links. • We do not co-ordinate with any 'advertisers', for the simple sake of scholarly integrity and vigorous intellectual autonomy ~ we are keenly aware of the saying "who pays the piper calls the tune" and we know how ideologically-driven 'demonetization' works (e.g. 'exclusion lists', 'inclusion lists', 'gatekeeping', targeted 'advertiser outreach' to 'redirect funding', and all that deeply textured racket) • There is no conceivable reason why we should make ourselves vulnerable to the whims of advertisers and -- even worse -- advertising-driven pressure tactics.

Look for us at Gale/CENGAGE and EBSCOhost e-resource and database centers in your subscribing library (our abstracts will also be restreamed at ProQuest). Soon on JSTOR. Ask your library to subscribe. Or subscribe in person. Previews of the PSR are available through Google Books (program now discontinued, replaced by previews on our own sites).

Follow the PSR on Academia.edu. Or not. Your entirely free choice. Yes, authors are archiving their offprints on Academia.edu with our full permission. But we are not shilling for academia.edu or any such. We are NOT an Academia 'ambassador', and do not seek to be such. We get nothing from the above banner. Nothing. Not even 1/10 click dime. As always, we are skeptical until we see results, and even long after we see results. We are purely concerned with academic integrity, hard as it is to ensure these days. Yes, similar platforms promise and often deliver quick exposure. The PSR, however, does not pay for its academia.edu account, on purpose. We certainly do not wish to be tarred with claims about 'paying for bumping'. Thus, we do not pay. Done. End of 'conversation'.
