Payment Information: Payments -- Our payments processor is PayPal. The listed fees are in Euro (€). We always seek to help. As you will readily notice from a PayPal interface, one can pay using any card accepted by PayPal (the international range is very broad). One does not have to have any PayPal membership (one can elect to pay as 'Guest' -- 'Pay with Debit or Credit Card'). Currency conversion is fully automatic. Exchange rate (at the exact moment of payment) between € and your local currency works just as if one used a card while travelling. Whatever country / region one is located in, the PayPal payment portal switches to your language and country mode when you select your country at top of the payment interface. Personal Data -- PayPal does not share ANY financial data with us. We receive, however, from PayPal, the 'Shipping address' ('Morada de envio') and other non-financial transaction notices. These data are recorded in the PayPal transaction system. Whatever your 'Billing address' ('Morada de faturação') might be, we ask you to use the 'Shipping address' area of the PayPal payment interface to fill in the name and address of your Institution of Affiliation (unless you do NOT have an Institution of Affiliation, in which case 'Billing address' and 'Shipping address' should be the same). This matters if you wish to submit your payment confirmation, for reimbursement from your Institution. Receipts -- Transaction receipts are always sent automatically and instantly by PayPal to the exact e-mail address that you have entered while making a payment. We see that e-mail address in the Transaction Records accessible to us through PayPal. You can always print the transaction receipts e-mailed to you by PayPal any time, from your e-mail, as with any other PayPal-processed transaction. These receipts are records that can be can be presented to your Institution of Affiliation. All the transactions are also fully archived by PayPal, long-term -- we can send you a duplicate copy any time, upon request. Registrant Name and Phone rubric in the form below -- please fill the requested information in, even though it is only a back-up verification tool to double-check whether registrants and transactions archived at PayPal match.

Note to Travel Agents and Institutions: If you are a Travel Agent or an Institution booking on behalf of faculty, students, etc. -- PayPal (or any other similar payment processors) will not be aware, automatically, of the actual person on whose behalf you have made a conference booking, unless you signal this information, explicitly, in the 'Shipping address' area of the PayPal payment interface. Registrant Name and Phone (rubric in the form below) should, logically, be the name and phone of the specific and exact conference-attending individual on whose behalf you are making a conference registration, and not your name or the name and phone of your third-party agency.
